A Colonie man faces a felony charge after Guilderland police said he got drunk, drove with a child in his vehicle and was involved in a crash.

Chao Feng, 35, of Central Avenue, faces a felony “Leandra’s Law” DWI charge, as well as charges of endangering the welfare of a child, reckless driving and imprudent speed, police said.

Police said Feng was involved in a two-car accident at 8:42 p.m. on East Old State Road. Police said he was intoxicated, and his 7-year-old daughter was in the vehicle with him.

Two people, whom police did not identify, were taken to area hospitals with complaints of pain.

Feng was released without bail pending a Guilderland Town Court appearance on Thursday.
