"Dancing With the Stars" announced its new cast for Season 23 on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, and it is eclectic, including Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, model Amber Rose and former presidential contender Texas governor Rick Perry.
"Rick Perry will be cha-cha-ing!" host Tom Bergeron gleefully told "GMA" co-anchor George Stephanopoulos.
"We've had a Texas politician in the past, right? Tom DeLay?" Stephanopoulos asked of the former House majority leader and 2009 "DWTS" contestant, who had to drop out with foot injuries.
"That's right. Hopefully, Rick will do better," Bergeron added.
Here's the complete cast list for this season, which kicks off Sept. 12 on ABC:
- Jake T. Austin, 21, actor
How you know him: He starred for years as Selena Gomez's younger brother on Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place," followed by two seasons on ABC Family drama "The Fosters." He's very much a part of the ABC-Disney family.
- Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, 57, R&B singer/songwriter/producer
How you know him: Ever heard Boyz II Men power ballads "I'll Make Love To You" or "End of the Road"? Of course you have. Babyface, an unstoppable force in the 1990s, wrote both. He's also a producer on "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. Of course, he's a successful singer in his own right, racking up multiple Grammy-nominated songs.
- Marilu Henner, 64, actress

- Laurie Hernandez, 16, Olympic gymnast
