Kristen Maher scored four times and added four assists in Saratoga Central Catholic’s 11-1 non-league girls’ soccer win over Glens Falls Friday. Lauren Maher and Meagan Schmid each added three goals for the Saints.

YaYa Van Ness scored a pair of goals to lead Saratoga Springs over Schalmont

6-0. Chloe Ray, Brie Dungate, Bri Diblasi and Emily Turner each scored once for the Blue Streaks.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk topped Watervliet 5-2 in Colonial Council action. Hayley Mitchell scored a hat trick, while Ciara Miller and Samantha Baker each added a goal for Ravena.

Miranda Secord’s second-half goal pushed Cambridge past Hoosic Valley 1-0 in Wasaren League play. Helen Mooney assisted on the game’s lone goal.

Hoosick Falls scored four times in the second half to defeat Greenwich 4-0. Darian Morgan recorded a hat trick while Angela Gonzalez added a goal.

Jessie Shaw scored the only goal in Mekeel Christian Academy’s 1-0 Western Athletic Conference win over Duanesburg.

Schoharie jumped on Middleburgh with a pair of first-half goals en route to a 2-0 win. Carrie Krohn and Katie Krohn were the goal scorers for Schoharie, while Abby Wetsel made seven saves in net.

Canajoharie and Berne-Knox-Westerlo fought to a 0-0 tie. Bethany Mead recorded six saves for Canajorharie, while Nicole Filkins tallied four for Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Warrensburg defeated Hadley-Luzerne 8-0 in Adirondack League action behind four goals and two assists from Abigail Seamans.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Josh Lindsay’s hat trick lifted Watervliet over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 3-0 in Colonial Council play. Ibrahim Asif assisted on a pair of Lindsay’s goals.

Albany Academy shut out Cobleskill-Richmondville

2-0. Ryan Uccellini and George Ware collected one goal each, while Caleb Phelan tallied an assist.

LaSalle scored twice in the second half to come from behind and defeat Cohoes

2-1. John Gordon scored both goals for LaSalle, while Nathan Laughlin made 16 saves for Cohoes.

Ichabod Crane topped Lansingburg 9-0 behind a goal and five assists from Anthony Carlucci. George Cox and Nick Johnston each scored twice.

Broadalbin-Perth defeated Hudson Falls on the eighth straight occasion with its 3-0 Foothills Council victory. Will Austin opened the scoring for the Patriots before Griffin Goodemote added a pair. Broadalbin-Perth moves to

8-0 on the season, 6-0 in league play.

Queensbury remained undefeated (6-0) in league play with its 2-0 win over Amsterdam. Luke Geczy scored for Queensbury, which tallied 28 shots on net.

Willy Herrmann scored in the 50th minute to give Glens Falls the lead in its 1-0 win over Gloversville.

Peyton Olsen provided all the offense with a pair of goals in Middleburgh’s 2-1 Western Athletic Conference defeat of Schoharie.

John Iverson scored twice to lead Duanesburg over Mekeel Christian Academy 3-0. Alex Lawrence tallied 21 saves for Duanesburg.

Galway used a four-goal first half to top OESJ 4-1. Quinn Smith scored twice for Galway while Mason Snell tallied OESJ’s only goal.

Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons defeated Northville 4-3. Gregorio Vichi and Connor Barber each scored twice for Bishop Gibbons.

Warrensburg topped Granville 1-0 in non-league action behind Adam Seamans’ lone goal.

Lake Placid topped Greenville 2-1 in a Mayfield Tournament semifinal. Bjorn Kroes’ goal just minutes before halftime proved to be the difference for Lake Placid.

Brendan Gifford recorded a hat trick to lead Mayfield over Potsdam 6-0 in the other semifinal. Mayfield will face Lake Placid in the tournament final tonight at 7.

Field hockey

Saratoga Springs scored three goals in the first half en route to a 3-1 Suburban Council victory over Bethlehem. Erin McCarthy scored twice for the Blue Streaks while Lydnsey Frank added a goal and an assist.

Nora Molino scored twice to lead Niskayuna over Guilderland 4-0. Sam Erickson and Emelia Canestrari each added one goal.

Emma Willard topped Columbia 2-0 in non-conference play. Heidi Zahnleuter and Sarah Shamlian each scored.

BOYS’ volleyball

Burnt-Hills Ballston-Lake cruised by Shaker 25-3, 25-9, 26-24 in Suburban Council play. Matt Hagan tallied eight kills and two blocks while Derek Haughey recorded 20 assists. Brad Albright added six kills and eight aces for the Spartans.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Johnstown beat Glens Falls 25-23, 17-25, 26-24, 25-23 in Foothills Council play. Alexys Hutchens led with 13 points and four aces while Mackenzie Ward added 13 points, 14 assists, six aces and seven digs.

Elizabeth Dewsbury (11) and Grace Bullard (9) combined for 20 aces to guide Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk past Watervliet 25-13, 25-8, 25-11 in Colonial Council play.

Cobleskill-Richmondville shut out Albany Academy 25-13, 25-17, 25-15. Bernadette Nichols recorded a monster day with 23 service points, nine aces and eight kills to lead Cobleskill.

Voorheesville defeated Central Catholic 25-16, 25-21, 27-25 behind nine kills and three digs from Julia Teney.

Saratoga Central Catholic earned a comeback Wasaren League victory over Mechanicville 18-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-10. Elisa Browell recorded 13 service points, 14 assists and five aces while Oni Crocker added 17 service points and five aces.
