The state police did not disclose the student's name.

State police arrested a 16-year-old student at Cobleskill-Richmondville High School for allegedly making bomb threats over two consecutive days at the school.

Police said the student wrote bomb threats in a men’s bathroom stall on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, and that a bomb-sniffing dog was dispatched to the school to investigate the threats.

The student was charged with falsely reporting an incident on school grounds, a felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Richmondville Court and is to return to court Dec. 7.

State police did not disclose the student’s name. A state police official could not be immediately reached for further comment Friday.
