An Avenue B woman is facing charges that accuse her of setting fire to two Dumpsters in September, authorities said.

Aundrea R. Blunt, 33, faces one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and fifth-degree arson, a misdemeanor. Police arrested her Friday.

Blunt is accused of setting fire to the Dumpsters near the corner of Van Vranken Avenue and Nott Street just before 9 p.m. on Sept. 24, according to court documents.

The fire caused just under $1,100 in damage, according to the court documents. County Waste owned both dumpsters.
