Schenectady’s defensive pressure was too much for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Tuesday night.

John Ryals poured in 21 points, and Schenectady held Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to just two points in the final quarter en route to a 53-29 Suburban Council victory.

Cameron Coles added 10 points for the 5-0 Patriots, who jumped out to a 21-11 first-quarter lead and kept pulling away. The Spartans scored only seven points in the second half.

Nick DeBrino scored 13 points, and Jordan King and Scott Trobridge contributed 12 each in Christian Brothers Academy’s 49-36 win over Averill Park.

Michael Wine tossed in 24 points, including 16-for-18 from the line, to help Guilderland slip past Shaker 69-67.

Adam Anderson registered 21 points, and Saratoga Springs outscored Columbia 41-18 over the middle two quarters en route to a 76-44 victory over the Blue Devils.

Duncan Tallman tossed in 20 points, and Brandon Kruzinski added 10 to lift Mohonasen past Albany 54-50.

Brendon Mulson netted 20 points, and Isaiah Moll chipped in with 16 to pace Colonie over Niskayuna 40-29.

Daniel Buie sscored 27 points as Troy slammed Ballston Spa 86-43.

In the Foothills Council, Joe Girard poured in 41 points on 10-for-17 shooting from three-point range to power Glens Falls past South Glens Falls 81-45.

Preston Taylor won the individual battle with 28 points, but Scotia-Glenville rode Christian Corker’s 27 points to a 57-54 victory over Broadalbin-Perth.

Austin Valliere led three double-digit scorers with 19 points, as Ichabod Crane pounded Cohoes 64-41 in the Colonial Council.

Joe Werner (16) and Casey Rutkey (12) also scored in twin figures for the Riders. Marquis Alston led the Tigers with 17.

Jahidi Wallace tossed in 12 points to help Lansingburgh squeeze past host La Salle 44-43. Joe DeLollo topped the Cadets with 14 points.

Anthony Houck connected for seven threes and finished with 24 points to spark Watervliet over Cobleskill-Richmondville 58-45.
Devin Lewis scored 16 to lead the Bulldogs.

The 1-2 punch of Matt Bernard (23) and Sean Nolan (20) combined for 43 points as Voorheesville bounced Schalmont 72-39.
Tyler Mattice and Troy Moran led Schalmont with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Northville (1-1, 4-1), behind 22 points from Danny Reidell and 16 more from Lucas Jetty, crushed Berne-Knox-Westerlo 64-37 in the Western Athletic Conference.

Dan Parslow netted 31 points, and Fonda-Fultonville outscored Galway 19-8 in the final quarter to beat the Eagles 74-60.
Thor White’s 25 points topped Galway.

Devyn Jones scored 23 points, and AJ Hayes added 12 points and 10 rebounds to spark Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville to a 61-43 win over Duanesburg.
Jack Brundage had 10 assists for the Wolves.

Peyton Olsen pumped in 35 points, including six three-pointers, to power Middleburgh past Fort Plain 86-65.

In a non-league game, Morris Central turned back Sharon Springs 55-49 despite a game-high 29 points from the Spartans’ Nick Tomaszewski.

In the Jerry Tarkanian Tournament in Las Vegas, Desert Vista of Arizona defeated Albany Academy 71-68, despite 28 ponts from August Mahoney and 23 from Hameir Wright.
