COLONIE -- A Kinderhook woman has been arrested in connection with an October store robbery, police said.

Marilyn F. Olshena, 56, faces felony robbery and misdemeanor petit larceny counts.

She is accused of robbing the Déjà Vu store at 145 Wolf Road on Oct. 17. She approached the clerk, demanded $300 and motioned as if she had a weapon, police said at the time. The clerk handed over cash, and the woman fled.

Police released surveillance images afterward but had no luck finding her.

Colonie police zeroed in on Olshena after her arrest for similar crimes on Jan. 4 in Columbia County. That's when police determined she was also responsible for the Colonie robbery, police said.
