SCHENECTADY -- A city teen robbed someone this week and then pointed a long gun at the person, authorities said.

Anthony M. Johnson, 17, of Germania Avenue faces one count of third-degree robbery, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

Johnson is accused of grabbing the victim's book bag off her shoulder at around 1 a.m. Monday on Delamont Avenue and running behind a house with it, according to papers filed in court.

The crying victim then apparently caught up with Johnson and confronted him about the theft. Johnson responded by pointing a rifle or a shotgun at her, telling her to "say something again," according to papers filed in court. The victim then ran from the scene, fearing for her life.

Police later caught up with Johnson and arrested him, finding the victim's cellphone in his possession, according to papers.
