Burnt Hills holds off Bethlehem

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake outlasted Bethlehem in Suburban Council action Thursday, picking up an 11-9 win.

Ty McHerron had three goals and an assist for the Spartans, while Darien LaPietro had two goals and three assists. Jake Stanko also had three goals.

For Bethlehem, Ben Reilly scored four goals and Ethan Sheraw had three.

Shenendehowa scored a 21-2 win against Schenectady.

Eric Makhatadze had three goals and three assists, while Dean Cannon, Pat Nagy and Zack Thomas each added three goals.

Saratoga Springs topped Albany 15-6.

Matt Shamberger scored three goals and had an assist for Saratoga Springs, while Dylan Honis and Adam Mesquita each had two goals and two assists. Griffin Taylor had five assists.

Ballston Spa won 18-3 against Colonie.

Scoring three goals apiece in the win were Sam Swingruber, Lucas Bennice, Joe McDonald and Alex Yerou.

Swingruber and Yerou each added two assists, while teammate Zac Schuette had two goals and four assists.

Niskayuna topped Troy 18-1.

Jon Pfohl had five goals and an assist, while Lucas Quinn scored three goals.

Mike Doxie added two goals and four assists.

Guilderland four goals from Connor Quimby and Tucker Peceri, with Quimby adding a pair of assists in a 20-3 win over Averill Park.

Jack Dollard had four assists for the Dutchmen, and Anthony Sericolo and Trevor Long recorded hat tricks.

Queensbury beat Amsterdam 18-1 in a Foothills Council game behind James Conway, who notched seven goals, and Colin Cunningham, who piled up three goals and six assists.

GIRLS
Kerry Gerety scored seven goals and had an assist in Guilderland’s 17-5 Suburban Council win against Averill Park.

Haley Kmack added three goals and four assists, while Kadi Futia collected three goals and two assists.

Saratoga Springs topped Albany 16-2.

Jackie Sauer, Katelyn Ginley, Amanda McGinn, Elizabeth Herman, Sophia Burke 2-0 and Katie Wendell each scored two goals for the Blue Streaks.

Shenendehowa scored a 19-1 win against Schenectady.

Kara Gray led with three goals and an assist, while Lauren Gray had a goal and three assists. 

Colleen McDonnell amassed nine goals and two assists in Catholic Central’s 14-13 Colonial Council win over Cohoes.
