Three people were charged in the robbery of a Mobil Mart in the village of Stillwater, police said.

A man entered the store on Hudson Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said, displayed a handgun and forcibly stole a sum of money before fleeing.

Police said they found the getaway vehicle a short time later in Stillwater, and then arrested and charged all three of the car's occupants.

Nicholas A. Higgs, 21, of Mechanicville; Sydney S. Jolly, 21, of Valley Falls; and Bruce E. St. Gelais Jr., 21, of Troy, were all charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.

Higgs, Jolly and St. Gelais were arraigned in Stillwater Town Court and sent to Saratoga County jail on a $100,000 bail bond, police said.

Police said the investigation is continuing and more charges may be filed.
