SCHENECTADY — Police on Thursday identified the woman struck and injured by a school bus the day before, describing her as stable.

Tyshamia Robinson, 22, suffered injuries to her legs when the school bus struck her Wednesday afternoon as it turned onto State Street from Cromer Avenue. One of the woman's children was also hit, but suffered minor injuries.

Robinson was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

The Brown Transportation bus carried seven children from Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons and Brown School, the district said. The bus driver's name was unavailable Thursday.

The investigation into the crash remained ongoing Thursday, police said.
