A convicted felon who served prison time for a robbery was arrested again for allegedly holding a gun and threatening to kill a woman during a domestic dispute.
Leffon Adams, 25, of Schenectady, was arrested Thursday on charges of unlawful imprisonment and menacing. He is accused of grabbing the 25-year-old victim by the arm, holding and cocking a gun in his other hand and threatening to kill her, then pulling her down the road in the area of 24 Swan St., police said.
The incident took place shortly before 9 p.m., according to a police report.
The victim is requesting a stay away order of protection.
Adams pleaded guilty in 2010 to a first-degree robbery charge, a felony, for his role in a 2009 break-in at a home on Robinson Street. He was sentenced to nine years in state prison at the time.
