QUEENSBURY — A FedEx driver from Milton faces a felony charge after he got into an argument with a bicyclist before taking the cyclist's phone.

William A. Vickers, 53, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny, Warren County sheriff’s deputies said.

Vickers was making deliveries in the Bedford Close development in Queensbury when the incident began, deputies said. They did not detail the cause of the argument.

The cyclist used a cellphone to take photos of the driver, and as the argument escalated, Vickers approached and took the phone away, deputies said.

The phone was recovered in the area shortly thereafter, deputies said.

Vickers was given an appearance ticket to Queensbury Town Court.
