As a nurse who’s been around here for many years, Ellis Hospital has been under fire for many reasons. St. Clare’s, the preferred hospital, closed and everyone knows how badly that went.
I, being a former employee, would have never thought I’d be an Ellis cheerleader, but I am. My mom had a stroke in March and they have the best neuro center you can get. The staff was superb.
I had to take her recently at a moment’s notice to the ER for a transfusion and the staff is very efficient; we didn’t wait long — only 20 minutes to get a bed.
The staff love their jobs, and it’s clear by their attitude. So Ellis must be doing something right,
Thanks to Courtney, Guido and Kaila for all their kindness. As a former employee of St. Clare’s, I feel safe knowing I’m in good hands at Ellis
