Police have made a third arrest in connection with a November death in the city's Bellevue neighborhood that police have called a contract killing.

Kyshaan Moore, 26, of Wilmington, Delaware, was allegedly an accomplice in the slaying of Charles Dembrosky, with expectation of payment, according to authorities. He was arrested June 20 in Delaware on a charge of first-degree murder.

Moore is scheduled to be in City Court on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.

The arrest came as a result of the ongoing investigation into Dembrosky’s slaying, Sgt. Matt Dearing said. He did not provide additional details.

Dembrosky was found dead outside his home at 2436 Campbell Ave. the morning of Nov. 19. No arrests were made in the case until late May, when police charged Joevany T. Luna, also from Wilmington, Delaware, with first-degree murder.

If convicted, Moore could face a minimum sentence of 20 years to life in prison, with a maximum sentence of life in prison without possibility of parole.

Prosecutors believe Moore’s primary role in the crime was driving Luna to Schenectady to carry out the murder, District Attorney Robert Carney said.

Moore consented to extradition, and was picked up by local police last week. He was sent to Schenectady County jail on Thursday, where he’s being held without bail.

Carney said he was unable to discuss details of the case or Moore’s background on Monday, but he called Dembrosky’s death “a very unusual crime,” and praised the police work in the investigation that followed. City and state police worked with a number of Delaware authorities, Carney said, including Wilmington police and state police.

Luna was arrested May 25 in Delaware. He has an extensive criminal history, having spent much of the past 15 years in prison, according to court records.

Tarchand K. Lall of Schenectady was arrested May 26, and was charged with first-degree murder. Investigators said they believe Lall hired the hit men to kill Dembrosky so he could collect on a $150,000 life insurance policy.
