Schenectady’s newest hotel will officially open to guests on July 19 at Rivers Casino & Resort, officials announced Tuesday.

The Landing Hotel has started taking reservations, with the first guests able to arrive next week. The hotel is adjacent to Rivers Casino and will feature 165 rooms spread across six stories. A grand opening event will take place later in the month, officials said.

The boutique hotel includes a fitness center, lobby and bar areas, valet and bell service, meeting space and access to an outdoor patio space that overlooks the Mohawk River. Officials touted the opening as just in time for the season at Saratoga Race Course, which begins July 21 and brings an influx of visitors to the region.

Prices at the hotel vary by room size, location and time of year, but they start at $139 per night, and range into the $200 and low $300 range. Casino rewards members will receive discounts.

The Landing Hotel is the third new lodging option to open in the city in recent months. The Courtyard by Marriott at Mohawk Harbor is on the opposite end of the Mohawk Harbor parcel, and a new Homewood Suites celebrated its grand opening last month across the river from the casino, in Glenville.
