The summer season is underway in Saratoga Springs.


Musicians and ballet dancers have been center stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center for several weeks. On Friday, thoroughbred horses take center stage at Saratoga Race Course. The 149th meet begins with the first race at 1 p.m. Bettors will keep track of 10s, 20s and 50s in their wallets and purses. Others may want to keep track of other numbers at the race course and in the Spa City. Here's Saratoga by the numbers:
