COXSACKIE -- A Thruway traffic stop Saturday led to the arrest of a Schenectady man on a felony marijuana possession charge, state police said.

Warren A. Lewter, 35, is accused of having just over a pound of marijuana inside his car during the 4 a.m. traffic stop on the Thruway in the town of Coxsackie, police said.

Lewter faces one count of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a traffic violation.
