GILBOA — An investigation into inappropriate computer activity has resulted in sex crime charges against a Gilboa man.
Christopher Machia, 30, faces three counts each of second-degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child, as well as one count of second-degree sexual abuse, according to the Schoharie County Sheriff's Office. The charges accuse Machia of having inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old, according to the sheriff's report.
Machia was arrested earlier this month, arraigned and ordered held on $10,000 bail.
