ROTTERDAM — A Pattersonville man stole computer and vacuum equipment from Wal-Mart and chainsaws from a Rotterdam tree service, police said.

Levi J. Brockway, 21, of 11071 Mariaville Road, faces one count of third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and four counts of petit larceny, misdemeanors, police said.

Brockway is accused of stealing the computer equipment and high-end vacuum cleaners from the Altamont Avenue Wal-Mart over four incidents recently. He also took several chainsaws valued at more than $5,000 from the  tree service, police said.

Brockway was arraigned and ordered held on $10,000 bail.

The investigation is continuing and further charges are possible, police said.
