Police: Woman flipped occupied stroller in argument

SCHENECTADY - A city woman was arrested last weekend on accusations that include intentionally flipping a stroller with her son young son inside, authorities said.

The boy suffered a minor scrape to his right cheek in the incident, but was otherwise unhurt, according to court documents.

Elizabeth Beckett, 24, of Elder Street, faces one count of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Beckett is accused of violating an order of protection by arguing with her boyfriend May 16 on Albany Street and then flipping the stroller, according to court papers. Police charged her last weekend.
