Scotia-Glenville topped Amsterdam 5-0 in Foothills Council boys' soccer Friday. Jared O’Connor collected a goal and an assist for the Tartans, while Ed Rosenberg recorded a six-save shutout. 

Colin Parker’s natural hat trick lifted South Glens Falls over Glens Falls 4-1. Mitchell Riopelle scored the only goal for the Indians.

Queensbury improved to 12-0, 9-0 in league play with a 4-1 win over Schuylerville (11-2, 8-2). Greg Maccharulo scored twice for the Spartans.

Luca Santabarbara scored four times in Schalmont’s 10-0 Colonial Council win over Watervliet. Matt Horwedel added a goal and three assists for the Sabres.

On Thursday, Ballston Spa shut out Niskayuna 2-0. Thomas Gentile scored twice for the Scotties. Joe Luger had one assist.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
Schalmont shut out Watervliet 7-0 for a Foothills Council victory. Kaylie Older collected one goal and three assists, while Ashley Cirilla totaled two goals for the Sabres.

In the Wasaren League, Hoosick Falls beat Tamarac 3-1. Taylor Mann scored twice for the Panthers.

Emma Willard beat Greenwich 2-0. Ava Turner scored both goals, assisted by Lauren Berry and Sally Howard.

Mackenzie Bowie scored twice to lead Mechanicville over Stillwater 3-0. Madalynn Garone picked up a pair of assists for the Red Raiders. 

Fonda-Fultonville defeated Broalbin-Perth 3-2 in overtime of a non-league match. Alyssa Duval scored a pair of goals and had an assist for the Braves.

Heatly defeated Mekeel Christian Academy 4-1. Emma Heffern collected a goal and an assist for the Hornets. Andie Elwell scored the lone Mekeel goal.

Rylee Lamphere’s two goals propelled Dolgeville over Canajoharie 4-2. Madison Koelbl had a pair of goals for the Cougars.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Voorheesville remained undefeated (9-0) with a 25-10, 25-16, 25-13 Colonial Council victory over Lansingburgh. Katy Bablin recorded nine aces and 10 kills for the Blackbirds.

Catholic Central topped Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 25-12, 25-17, 22-25, 25-17. Faith Jones tallied six kiills and five aces for the Crusaders.

Amsterdam defeated Schuylerville 25-22, 25-18, 25-14 in the Foothills Council. Madi Carmona recorded nine assists and 10 service points for the Rams.

Galway earned a Western Athletic Conference win over Canajoharie 25-13, 25-10, 25-13. Emma Smith collected 14 kills, 11 points and eight aces for the Golden Eagles, while Hannah Bramer added 15 service points and 18 assists.

Fonda-Fultonville topped Gloversville 25-15, 25-18, 25-18. For the Braves, Hanna Moore recorded 17 assists, while Taylor Etherton added seven digs and five kills.

Loudonville Christian defeated Duanesburg 23-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-20. Sophia Loukidas tallied 16 service points and three aces for Duanesburg.

Mackenzie Islip collected 17 service points and 16 assists in Mekeel Christian Academy’s 25-10, 25-9, 25-22 win over Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville.
