SCHENECTADY — A city teen broke into his ex-girlfriend's residence last Sunday, choked her and threatened her with a knife, authorities said.

Daquan Parker, 18, of Howard Street, faces one count of second-degree burglary, a felony, and misdemeanor criminal obstruction of breathing and menacing.

Parker broke into the Fourth Avenue residence just after 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24, according to court documents. Police arrested him shortly afterward.
