Grace Purvis scored twice to lift Scotia-Glenville over South Glens Falls 5-1 a in Foothills Council field hockey game Tuesday.

Sage Plemenik added a goal and two assists for the Tartans.

Emma Willard won its Patroon Conference match against Ichabod Crane 2-0. Sarah Shamlian and Anna Boggess were the goal scorers for Emma Willard.

BOYS’ SOCCER
Brady Van Epps had the only goal, off an assist from Wyatt Leo, in CBA’s 1-0 Suburban Couoncil win over Niskayuna.

Shaker won its matchup with Ballston Spa 3-0. For the Blue Bison, William Augstell, Ethan Snyder and Ian Wu each scored once.

Averill Park doubled up Columbia 2-1. The Warriors got goals from Logan Bielawski and Aaron Masse. Cameron Plowinski scored the Columbia goal.

Saratoga Springs beat Troy 6-1. Simon Smith scored a pair of goals for the Blue Streaks and Simon Smith chipped in a goal and an assist.

Jaylin Sykes scored two goals to guide Shenendehowa past Albany 4-2. Noah Faro and Ethan Brunell both added one goal for the Plainsmen.

In the Colonial Council, Schalmont defeated Cobleskill-Richmondville 6-0. Luca Santabarbara and Ryan Edwards each scored twice for the Sabres.

LaSalle edged Albany Academy 2-1. Ethan Tremblay and Sam Haita were the goal scorers for LaSalle. Albany’s goal came from Nicholas Moutopoulos.

Ichabod Crane shut out Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 5-0. Ichabod’s Logan Groat had two goals, while Parker Groat and Nicholas Johnston each scored one goal and assisted on another.

Chris Ciccarelli’s hat trick propelled Mechanicville to a 6-2 Wasaren League win over Tamarac. Jeff Luce contributed two goals and two assists for the Red Raiders.

Berlin topped Hoosic Valley 9-2. Ryan Willis tallied four goals and three assists, while Tyler Kellar added three goals and three assists for Berlin.

Tyler Galarneau’s two-goal performance led Waterford-Halfmoon to a 5-1 win over Saratoga Central Catholic. Hunter Guertin added a goal and an assist for the Fordians.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
In the Suburban Council, Averill Park and Columbia played to a 2-2 draw. Columbia’s Amanda Lobban tallied a goal and an assist. Mack Slattery and Brigid Clark scored for the Warriors.

Saratoga Springs beat Troy 6-0. Julia DiMenna recorded a hat trick for the Blue Streaks, while Lexi Bakkalapulo and Natalie Jillison combined for a seven-save shutout.

Mia Longo and Ava Sullivan both recorded hat tricks in Shenendehowa’s 11-0 victory against Troy. Jen Kirker, Sarah Monroe and Lauren Cavert each added a goal and an assist.

Guilderland topped Schenectady 3-0. For the Lady Dutch, Christine Fish, Jamie Golderman and Maggie Robinson each collected a goal.

Schalmont defeated Cobleskill-Richmondville 6-0 in Colonial Council action, improving to 12-0-0 on the year. Jules Monlea collected a pair of goals, while Sophia Cassano and Davia Rossi each added a goal and two assists.

Amanda Gillenwalters recorded three goals and an assist in Voorheesville’s 11-0 win over Watervliet. Rebecca Clair had two goals and an assist for the Blackbirds.

Natalie Ricci scored four goals, lifting Cohoes over Lansingburgh 4-3. Dimetria McIntyre recorded two goals for Cohoes.

Gabby Cox scored twice to lead Ichabod Crane over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 3-0. Katie Barnes made 10 saves and collected the shutout.

Queensbury shut out Broadalbin-Perth 7-0 for a Foothills Council victory. Cara Parker scored twice, while Izzy Dennison added a goal and two assists.

Scotia-Glenville defeated South Glens Falls 5-2. Sydnee Smith and Lauren Zeglen each scored twice. Smith added three assists.

Schuylerville beat Amsterdam 3-0. Cassandra Cooper, Amy Moreau and Myranda Gale all scored for the Black Horses.

Taylor Mee’s two-goal effort propelled Gloversville over Hudson Falls 4-0. Sydney Loux contributed a goal and an assist for the Dragons.

Greenwich defeated Hoosick Falls 2-1. For the Witches, Johnny Swertner and Aidan Abernathy were credited with goals.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (14-3, 9-0) defeated Colonie 25-8, 25-9, 25-16. For the Spartans, Hannah Shell and Carlie Rzeszotarski combined for 10 kills and seven aces.

Guilderland beat Schenectady 25-20, 25-20, 25-10. Peyton Legg collected 14 assists for the Lady Dutch. Nicole McGrath added nine kills, three aces and eight digs.

Averill Park topped Columbia 19-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-17. Averill Park’s Maddy Dunigan recorded 23 kills, while Sydney Jones contributed 39 assists and four kills for the Warriors.

Ballston Spa beat Shaker 25-20, 25-19, 25-22. Megan McMahon tallied 19 assists and eight kills, while Angelina Stile had 24 service points and 10 digs.

Lily Mitchell’s 14 assists, five aces and 19 service points guided Broadalbin-Perth to a 25-4, 25-7, 25-13 Foothills Council win over Amsterdam. The Patriots improved to 7-1 with the win.

Gloversville topped Johnstown 25-19, 25-18, 26-28, 25-21. Mackenzie Ward collected 20 assists, five aces adn 10 service points for the Dragons.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo defeated Schoharie 25-14, 25-10, 25-21 for a Western Athletic Conference win. Amber Skinner recorded 14 assists, seven kills, six digs, five aces and two blocks for the Bulldogs.

Mekeel Christian Academy fought off a rally from Duanesburg to win 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 25-27, 25-10. Mackenzie Islip recorded 23 service points, 30 assists and 10 digs for the Lions. Mekeel’s Clare Nelson chipped in 20 service points, 14 kills, seven aces and 16 digs.

Anna Dobkowski collected 20 assists, 15 service points and nine digs in leading Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons over Middleburgh 25-12, 17-25, 25-19, 27-25. Maria Dobkowski added 18 digs and 11 service points.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL
Shenendehowa earned a Suburban Council win with a 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 decision over Shaker. Dylan Urbanski collected 27 assists for the Plainsmen, while Brendan Spulnick added 17 kills and six aces.
