Aidan Rice’s two second-half goals lifted Saratoga Springs past Shenendehowa 2-1 in Suburban Council boys’ soccer Thursday. Reggie Durde scored the lone goal for the Plainsmen in the first half.

Killian Ryan’s hat trick propelled Bethlehem past Columbia 10-0. Deirn Gumustop and Matt Stento chipped in two goals each for the Eagles.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake shut out Schenectady 2-0. Glenn Ramos scored both goals for the Spartans.

CBA beat Ballston Spa 1-0. Eli D’Onofrio’s goal in the 87th minute was the difference in the game. 

Mohonasen doubled up Averill Park 2-1. Matteo LaGrossi and Nathan Gandrow netted goals for the Warriors. Logan Bielawski scored the Warriors’ only goal.

Albany defeated Troy 2-1 in overtime. Kevin Kampula notched a goal and an assist for the Falcons. Kevin Vargas scored for Troy.

Keegan Flaherty made 11 saves in Shaker’s 2-0 win over Niskayuna. Demani Johnson and Ryan Watson both scored goals for the Blue Bison.

In the Colonial Council, Ichabod Crane topped Alb­any Academy 3-1. Edgar Gomez and Anthony Carlucci netted goals for the Riders.

John Norton’s two-goal performance lifted Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk past Watervliet 4-2. Nate Mills scored both goals for the Cannoneers.

Lucas Kania scored twice in Catholic Central’s 2-1 win over Lansingburgh. Colby Beach assisted on one of Kania’s tallies.

Broadalbin-Perth recorded a 3-0 Foothills Council victory over Johnstown. David Rasmussen, Jonathan Murphy and Hunter Monks each scored a goal for the Patriots.

Tamarac beat Stillwater 3-1 in the Wasaren League. Jack Mulligan had two goals for the Bengals, while Grant Baker 
recorded Stillwater’s only goal.

Greenwich and Mechanicville tied 1-1. Charlie Garnter scored two minutes into the game for Greenwich before Mechanicville’s Jeff Luce recorded the equalizer later in the first half.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Mohonasen and Averill Park played to a 0-0 draw in Suburban Council action. For the Warriors, Megan Planton recorded an 11-save shutout. Mohonasen’s Milan Pfister made eight saves.

Bethlehem edged Columbia 3-2 behind a goal and an assist from Grace Hotaling. Emma Boyagian scored both Columbia goals.

Albany won its matchup with Troy 1-0. Kennedy Jones scored Albany’s only goal. Gabrielle Rodriguez made seven saves for the Falcons.
Niskayuna defeated Shaker 2-0. Izzy Lynch accounted for both Silver Warrior goals, assisted by Ali Greco and Fiona Zimmerman.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake shut out Schenectady 4-0 behind two goals from Sophia Leveroni. Molly Garis and Cassidy Karl scored the other Spartan goals.

Voorheesville earned a 2-0 Colonial Council win over Cobleskill-Richmondville. 

Rebecca Clair and Jayden Kelley scored the Blackbird goals.

Lauren Sanderson scored a pair of goals in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk’s 3-2 win over Watervliet. Kiersten Chaplin and Meghan Murray tallied scores for Cannoneers.

Catholic Central edged Lansingburgh 1-0. Claudia Fountain scored the game’s only goal. Catholic Central’s Kay Valley made six saves to record a shutout.

Hoosick Falls topped Cambridge 4-3 in Wasaren League play. Darian Morgan collected a hat trick for the Panthers, with Taylor Mann adding a goal and an assist. Cambridge’s Miranda Seacord scored twice.

Emma Willard edged Waterford-Halfmoon 1-0. Lauren Berry had the game’s only goal. Emily Kelley made 16 saves for Waterford.

Scotia-Glenville defeated Colonie 3-0 for a non-league win. Tanya Leggiero collected a goal and an assist for the Tartans. Annika Nielsen and Lauren Zeglen each scored once.

FIELD HOCKEY

Maddie Etherton scored a pair of goals in Johnstown’s 4-1 Foothills Council win over Queensbury. Emily Fleming tallied a pair of assists in the win.

Emma Willard shut out Greenwich 4-0 for a non-league win. Sarah Shamlian recorded a pair of goals for Emma Willard, while Kat Fousek added a goal and an assist.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

In the Suburban Council, Averill Park swept Mohonasen 25-12, 25-17, 25-19. Sydney Jones recorded 13 digs and 17 assists for the Warriors, while Stephanie Jankovic added 19 digs.

Shenendehowa beat Sara­toga Springs 25-15, 25-11, 25-9. For the Plainsmen, Ashley Lavigne collected 24 service points, six aces and 31 assists.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake defeated Schenectady 25-8, 25-7, 25-18. The Spartans were led by Lindsey Doebonis’ four kills and three aces.

Guilderland beat Colonie 26-28, 25-10, 25-20, 22-25, 25-19. Julz Venduro contributed 15 kills, 22 service points, 10 aces and seven digs to the victory. Guilderland’s Peyton Legg and Sandy Eldeiry combined for 41 assists.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk topped Ichabod Crane 25-21, 11-25, 25-16, 26-28, 25-21 in Colonial Council action. The Indians were led by Elizabeth Dewsbury’s 20 assists and Rylee Polverelli’s 10 kills.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo defeated Opennheim-Eph­ratah-St. Johnsville 25-12, 21-25, 25-15, 26-24 for a Western Athletic Conference win. Laura Griffin collected 15 aces and 17 kills for the Bulldogs.

Led by 15 service points, 10 aces and six kills from Treasa Kozakiewicz, Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons beat Canajoharie 25-17, 25-20, 25-14. The Lady Knights improved to 10-2, 9-1 in league play.

Middleburgh won its match against Fort Plain 25-19, 25-19, 25-17. Camryn Leggett tallied 16 kills, 15 service points, 10 aces, 12 digs and two blocks for the Knights.

Galway topped Duanesburg 25-15, 25-17, 25-21. Emma Smith contributed 12 kills, 14 service points and 16 digs for the Golden Eagles, who clinched the WAC’s Mohawk Division with the win.

Mekeel Christian Academy beat Fonda-Fultonville 23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 25-18. Sydney Eckstein collected 22 digs, 16 service points and 14 kills for the Lions, while Mackenzie Islip added 20 service points and 40 assists.

Elise Browell’s 30 assists, 20 service points and four aces guided Saratoga Central Catholic past Emma Willard 25-17, 25-21, 12-25, 25-22. Grace Fornabia added 12 service points, 20 kills and four blocks.
