A teenager is accused of multiple early morning house and vehicle break-ins in Burnt Hills, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said.

The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said they received 911 calls around 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 1, reporting a man entering homes and vehicles in the area of Fruitwood Drive, Wealthy Lane and Wendy Lane. While investigating the incidents, police said they located the man within the neighborhood, and the suspect then fled.

The suspect, Mark R. Edwards, 16, of 4 Wealthy Lane, Burnt Hills,  was subsequently located in a wooded area in the area of Wendy Lane, police said. Edwards is accused of unlawfully entering two residences and attempting to steal or stealing property from the homes and vehicles in the area.

Edwards was arraigned before Judge Turo in the Milton Town Court and was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5000.00 cash/$10,000 bond, police said. Edwards is scheduled appear in Ballston Town Court at a later date.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
