Saratoga Springs battled back from a 3-0 halftime deficit to earn a 3-3 draw with Bethlehem in Suburban Council boys’ soccer Thursday. Simon Smith began the rally before Evan Farr netted a pair of goals for the Blue Streaks.

Aiden May scored two goals and added an assist in Shenendehowa’s 5-0 win over Columbia. Nick Kokkinides picked up a pair of assists for the Plainsmen.

Brady Van Epps scored twice to lead CBA over Schenectady 4-1. Rafael Enrique-Holguin collected a goal and an assist for the Brothers.

Glenn Ramos’ goal in the 63rd minute propelled Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to a 1-0 win over Ballston Spa. Kyle Mercier and Sean Speck combined for a 10-save Spartan shutout.

Matteo Lagrossi scored twice in Mohonasen’s 3-1 win over Albany. Evan Schmidt collected the other Warrior goal. Harrison Leon scored for the Falcons.

Nicholas Gallo, Giovanni Gomez and Nicholas Johnston each scored twice to lead Ichabod Crane to an 11-0 Colonial Council win over Watervliet. Anthony Carlucci chipped in a goal and four assists.

In the Foothills Council, Hudson Falls topped Glens Falls 3-1. Donnie Fountaine scored twice for the Tigers. Mitchell Riopelle recorded the Indian goal.

Greg Maccharulo tallied three goals and an assist in Queensbury’s 6-1 win over Amsterdam. Zach Wiekierak recorded two assists for the Spartans.

Greenwich edged Stillwater 3-2 for a Wasaren League victory. Henry Hansen recorded a hat trick for the Witches, who erased a 2-0 deficit in the win. Stillwater’s Grant Baker scored twice.

Mechnicville bested Hoosick Falls 7-0. Jeff Luce, Chris Ciccarelli and Michael Cavotta each scored two goals for the Red Raiders. Kevin Charette added a goal and an assist.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Averill Park edged Troy 2-1 in Suburban Council play. Sydney Haskin and Syndey Giles scored the Warrior goals. Abby Burns collected Troy’s goal.

Alex Skoda recorded a hat trick and added an assist in leading Mohonasen past Albany 6-0. Lexi Canvally collected two goals and two assists.

Shenendehowa shut out Columbia 3-0. Marion Lyons tallied a pair of Plainsmen goals, while Amanda O’Brien added a goal and an assist.

Shaker doubled up Colonie 4-2 behind a hat trick from Julia Roemer. Isa Provost also scored for the Blue Bison.

Niskayuna defeated Guilderland 2-0. Izzy Lynch tallied a goal and an assist for the Silver Warriors.

Bethlehem beat Saratoga Springs 1-0. Olivia Miranda scored the game-winner for the Eagles.

Claudia Fountain’s two-goal performance pushed Catholic Central past Cobleskill-Richmondville 3-0 in Colonial Council action. For the Crusaders, Emily Frodyma added a goal and an assist, while Emily Drake chipped in a pair of assists.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Averill Park earned a Suburban Council win with its 25-10, 25-11, 25-8 defeat of Troy. Jenna Miller contributed 14 digs for the Warriors (11-3, 10-3), while Sydney Jones tallied 19 assists.

Hannah Shell’s 15 kills and three aces led Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to victory over Ballston Spa 25-10, 25-15, 25-7. Myla Dobson added eight kills and four blocks for the Spartans (19-4, 12-0).

Shaker topped Colonie 29-31, 25-16, 25-7, 26-24. Sam Hardwick recorded 10 kills, nine digs and five service points for the Blue Bison.

Bethlehem swept Saratoga Springs 26-24, 25-18, 26-24. For the Blue Streaks, Goldie Hellman recorded six kills and eight service points.

Niskayuna defeated Guilderland 25-18, 25-18, 25-21. Stefana Stan contributed eight aces and 14 kills to the Silver Warrior win.

Broadalbin-Perth won a Foothills Council match against Amsterdam 25-7, 25-5, 25-14. Maddie Fariello recorded five aces and 17 service points for the Patriots, while Cassy Brown added seven kills, four aces and 11 service points.

In the Colonial Council, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk defeated Cobleskill-Richmondville 25-11, 25-15, 27-29, 23-25, 25-22. Elizabeth Dewsbury collected 10 aces for the Indians, while Ryle Polverelli added five kills and three blocks.

Galway beat Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons 25-15, 25-22, 25-19 in the Western Athletic Conference. Emma Smith had 13 kills, 21 digs, 17 service points and six aces for the Golden Eages, while Lindsey Zawisa added 12 kills, 13 digs, 11 service points and one ace.

FIELD HOCKEY

Schuylerville (16-0, 14-0) completed a perfect regular season with a 4-1 Foothills Council win over Scotia-Glenville behind a hat trick from Alison Burnham. Lili Forth scored for the Tartans (10-5, 9-5).

Emily Fleming’s hat trick propelled Johnstown past Hudson Falls 8-0. Taryn Ringer recorded four assists for the Lady Bills (12-3, 11-3). Emma Fiore added a pair of goals.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake defeated Queensbury 6-1 for its fourth straight Section II Class A team championship, and 10th going back to 2006. Three of the Spartan wins came in three sets. Burnt Hills improved to 14-2 overall, while dealing Queensbury (14-1) its first loss.

Ichabod Crane beat Catholic Central 4-3 for the Section II Class B title.

In the Class AA semifinals, Bethlehem topped Saratoga Springs 8-1 and Shaker bested Shenendehowa 6-3. Friday’s championship is at Central Park at 3 p.m.
