ALBANY — Two people, including a woman from Schenectady, have been arrested in connection with an Albany beauty store robbery, police said.

Jason Kennedy, 37, of Troy, and Dawn Ricciardi, 40, of Schenectady, each face two counts of second-degree robbery, according to a report from Albany police.

The pair are accused of robbing Sally's Beauty Supply in Westgate Plaza. Kennedy demanded money while armed with what appeared to be a handgun, police said. Ricciardi stood outside the store's front door during the heist, police said.

The store employee complied with Kennedy's demands, and Kennedy fled with Ricciardi, police said. No injuries were reported, and no further details were available.
