SCHENECTADY — The Beach Boys — with Mike Love but without Brian Wilson and Al Jardine — will perform live at Proctors Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Love, who wrote many of the lyrics to Wilson's music during the group's heyday of the 1960s, gained exclusive license to tour under the Beach Boys name in 1998, following the death of his cousin and fellow band member, Carl Wilson.

Joining him on this tour is Bruce Johnston, who joined the band in 1965. Wilson and Jardine continue to tour on their own but did reunite with Love in 2012 for the group's 50th Reunion Tour.

The Beach Boys have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

Tickets range from $30 to $80 and are available online at proctors.org or by calling 518-346-6204.
