MOREAU — State Department of Environmental Conservation police are investigating the dumping of numerous deer carcasses in Saratoga County.

Erica Ringewald, a spokeswoman for the DEC, said the carcasses were found on West River Road in the town of Moreau in Saratoga County.

Ringewald said deer carcasses are considered a solid waste, so the DEC is investigating the illegal disposal of the carcasses.

Anyone with information about the dumping is asked to call the DEC at 518-408-5850.
