National Grid to host Smart Energy meeting

CLIFTON PARK — National Grid will be hosting an information session to teach town customers how to save energy and win rewards.

On Jan. 16, the company will be holding two sessions at the Clifton Park Halfmoon Public Library that will cover its Smart Energy Solutions Program. 

Smart Energy Solutions is an incentive-based program that participating National Grid customers can win prizes, such a gift cards, for actively focusing on controlling their energy use by taking simple actions, such as turning lights off after leaving rooms.

The first session at the library will be held at noon, and the second will be at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
