COBLESKILL — A Fultonville man is facing unemployment benefits fraud-related charges, state police said Wednesday.

Joseph R. Raymer, 26, faces one count each of third-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records and first-degree filing a false instrument, all felonies.

State police arrested him after a joint investigation between the state Department of Labor, and state police in Cobleskill. A news release did not detail the allegations against Raymer.

He was arraigned and sent to jail, police said. He is due back in court later.
