A Johnstown man and his sister are facing charges after police charged him with driving while intoxicated, and she tried to pick him up, also intoxicated, New York State Police said.
Scott W. Vosburgh, 50, was involved in a single-vehicle accident on County Route 107 in Perth early Thursday morning, and was taken into custody at the barracks in Mayfield, state police said. Vosburgh was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .29 percent, state police said.
His sister, Kimberly E. Ledoux, 51, drove to the Mayfield barracks to pick up Vosburgh, when state police said she was also intoxicated and placed her under arrest. Ledoux was also charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and allegedly had a blood alcohol contend of .22 percent, state police said.
Vosburgh and Ledoux were released to a sober third party and ordered to appear at a later date.
