CLIFTON PARK -- Three people are facing charges after police responded to an incident on Eastwood Drive Friday night, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office reported.
Kyle C. Hooper, 25, faces charges including second-degree obstruction of government administration, resisting arrest, harassment and fourth-degree attempted criminal mischief. Also arrested were Ronald C. Skaarup, 25, and Kayla Blais, 26, who were charged with obstructing government administration and resisting arrest. Deputies did not provide addresses for any of the subjects.
Deputies said they responded to a disturbance call at 8:44 p.m. Friday. Hooper is accused of threatening and spitting at a responding deputy and state trooper. They said Hooper and Skaarup both actively resisted arrest, and that Blais interfered.
A chemical agent was used to subdue Hooper, deputies said. Despite that, when placed in sheriff's patrol unit they said he kicked the vehicle's door and cage.
All three were arraigned before Halfmoon Town Justice Joseph Fedora, and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
