Troopers: Saratoga Springs man charged after chase

Report: Man fled from car on foot, evaded troopers

BRUNSWICK -- A Saratoga Springs man has been apprehended after fleeing police in Rensselaer County in June, state police said.

Chris A. Morris, 35, drove away from a traffic stop on Hoosick Street in Brunswick in January, police said. He led troopers on a brief car chase before he stopped his vehicle and fled on foot.

Morris showed up for a court appearance earlier this month in Saratoga Springs on other charges.

He faces one count each of unlawful fleeing a police officer and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors.
