Troopers: Schenectady woman illegally took unemployment

Report: Woman was employed as she collected benefits

SCHENECTADY -- A Schenectady woman took more than $6,000 in unemployment benefits to which she wasn't entitled, according to state police.

Dormae M. Boler, 52, faces one count each of third-degree grand larceny, offering a false instrument for filing and falsifying business records, all felonies.

She collected the benefits over a three-year period, from 2013 to 2016, while she was employed, state police said Tuesday, citing the state Department of Labor.

Boler was charged and released to return to court at a later date.
