SCHENECTADY - A city man involved in an accident drove on drugs with a child in the car this month, authorities said.
Scott D. Caban, 33, of Rugby Road, faces two felony driving while intoxicated counts, as well as felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
He is accused of driving under the influence of marijuana and a depressant March 9 at about 3:45 p.m. at Eastern and Brandywine avenues, according to court documents. Documents described the accident as involving an injury. Police described the injury later as minor.
Inside Caban's car was an 8-year-old child, according to documents. Caban is also accused of illegally possessing a controlled pill.
