CLIFTON PARK — A local man was arrested after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a convenience store and possessed drugs, police said.

On March 21, Kevin J Dahl, 23, of 43 Valencia Lane, was arrested after the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department received a call about a man causing a disturbance at the Stewart's Shop on Crescent Road in Clifton Park, police said.

Responding officers located a man that matched Dahl's description while he was walking on Crescent Road, police said.

After an investigation, Dahl was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was also charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Dahl was arraigned in the Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility pending a future court appearance.
