In the Suburban Council, Mohonasen baseball beat Shaker 7-6 on Thursday. 

For Mohonasen, Luke Pusz went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. For Shaker, Alex Moisidis went 3-4 with two doubles and three runs scored.

Averill Park beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 7-6. For Averill Park (8-4), Anthony Carucci had three singles and three RBIs. For Burnt Hills (3-9, 6-10), Derek Haughey had a double, a single and three RBIs.

In the Colonial Council, Lansingburgh beat Ichabod Crane 9-8. For Ichabod Crane, Dave Yankowski hit a two-run homer. For Lansingburgh, Anthony Combs had a double and four RBIs.

In the Western Athletic Conference, Fort Plain beat Mekeel Christian Academy 11-3. For Fort Plain (8-1, 11-2), Bryce 
Thibodeau went six innings, striking out nine and hitting a single, two RBIs and scoring two runs.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

In the Suburban Council, Ballston Spa beat Shenendehowa 16-15. For Ballston Spa, Sam Swingruber had five goals and one assist. For Shen, Billy Beach had three goals and two assists.

Averill Park beat Colonie 13-12. Aiden Jones scored three goals and had three assists for Averill Park. For Colonie, Dylan Williams had three goals and one assist.

Columbia beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 12-9. For Columbia, Owen Stefanko scored five goals. For Burnt Hills, Darien LaPietro had one goal and three assists.

Shaker beat Albany 17-2. For Shaker, Andrew O’Connor had six goals and three assists. 

In the Foothills Council, Queensbury extended the longest NYSPHSAA boys’ lacrosse active winning streak to 14 games by beating Amsterdam 17-1. The victory gave the Spartans sole possession of their 12th Foothills Council title. For Queensbury, Paul Wright scored three goals and had one assist and Alex Chrigwin scored three goals.

In the Western Athletic Conference, Galway beat Duanesburg 7-3. For Galway (6-4), Emma Smith picthed a complete game, walked twice, singled, homered and had two RBIs. For Duanesburg (3-7, 3-11), Morgan Hoffmann had a double and an RBI.

Mayfield beat Berne-Knox-Westerlo 10-1. For Mayfield, Jillian Botch had a double, three singles, four RBIs and struck out 12 in five innings. For BKW, Morgan Heath had a single and an RBI.

In the Wasaren League, Greenwich beat Mechanicville 7-1. Lily McCauliffe had nine strikeouts and Mackenzie Moy had two singles and three RBIs.

BOYS TRACK AND FIELD

In the Loucks Games, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake ran at the DMRs. 
In the East Coast Challenge DMR, they placed second with a time of 10:24.01 with Nick Hunziker running the 1,200 (3:18.88), Rece Gobel running the 400 (51.57), Logan Short running the 800 (2:03.63) and Evan Brennan running the 1,600 (4:19.92).

In the Open DMR, the team finished third with a time of 10:38.84 with Michael Messere running the 1,200 (3:13.0), Kevin Board running the 400 (54.5), David Metacarpa running the 800 (2:01.0) and Aidan Gillooley running the 1,600 (4:30.3).
