ALBANY — Many of the performers have been announced for the free Alive at Five outdoor summer concert series at Jennings Landing (at the Albany Corning Preserve), with a rain location of the Corning Preserve Boat Launch. Concerts are held from 5 to 8 p.m.
Each week during the series, bands of various genres from the local, regional, and national scene take the stage.
The 2018 Alive at Five summer concert series lineup:
June 7: Joe Mansman and the Midnight Revival Band and Great White
June 14: Dark Honey and Albert Hammond Jr.
June 21: Mirk and Matisyahu
June 28: The Age and B.B. King Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson
July 5: No show
July 12: Hip Hop Night With Big Daddy Kane, DJ Trumastr, Und3rstanding, and DJ Supreme
July 19: Mixed Roots and Third World
July 26: Blind Crow and Yonder Mountain String Band
Aug. 2: The Lateshift and Sir Sly
Local vendors will be on hand selling food and drinks.
There is a $5 flat fee for parking and handicap parking is available at the Riverfront Garage at Broadway and Columbia Street.
