Blaze Pizza to open in Clifton Park

Restaurant to partner with local schools, organizations for fundraisers

CLIFTON PARK -- Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza will open its new Clifton Park location on June 22.

Blaze will be located in a 3,000-square-foot open kitchen restaurant with interior seating for 80 at 11 Clifton Country Road, right next to CoreLife Eatery in Clifton Park's Town Center.

The design-your-own pizza restaurant allows customers to pick one of the menu’s personal signature pizzas or select a create-your-own option.

Every pizza features made-from-scratch dough crafted in-house daily, all-natural meats and vegetables finished in an open flame oven which cooks pizzas in three minutes, according to a company statement. For guests with special dietary needs, Blaze offers gluten-free dough, vegan cheese, animal rennet free dairy and tree-nut free pesto.

To celebrate the opening, any customer who visits between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on opening day and follows the brand on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook will receive a free pizza.

Blaze has also developed a restaurant fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of an event’s proceeds to local organizations, and it will be partnering with local schools, sports clubs and other organizations to host fundraising events, the company said.

The Clifton Park restaurant will employ 45. The chain operates more than 270 restaurants in 40 states.
