A Saratoga Springs man broke into his girlfriend’s apartment last week, assaulted her and fled with her property, police said.

Joe Still, 27, of Lincoln Avenue, faces charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree robbery, felonies, along with multiple misdemeanors

The incident happened Thursday at 10:30 a.m at the woman's Ballston Avenue home, police spokesman Lt. Robert Jillson said. He did not identify what Still allegedly took. The woman suffered minor injuries.

Still fled, but police caught up with him the next day and arrested him, Jillson said.

In addition to the felony charges, Still faces misdemeanor counts of assault, criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing.
