SCHENECTADY - A city man used a piece of wood to break another man's teeth last week in Schenectady, authorities said.

Steven Perry, 35, of Backus Street, faces one count of second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

Perry is accused of hitting the the man in the face just after 6:30 a.m. June 13 at Perry's residence. The victim suffered broken teeth and a cut to his lip, according to court documents. Police arrested Perry shortly afterward.
