Bravo to companies that closed kitchens

Bravo to companies that closed kitchens

Lynne Gilgore, Schenectady

During the heat wave that we experienced last week, I was surprised to discover that a number of businesses had closed their outdoor cooking spaces because it was just too hot to expect employees to work next to hot grills in that kind of weather.

I applaud Jumpin’ Jack’s, More Perecca’s and every other business that put the safety and well-being of their staffs above the day’s profits. I’ll continue to support these businesses. They have my respect and loyalty.
