SCHENECTADY - A 24-year-old man was stabbed late Saturday in Schenectady, police said.

The incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Victory Avenue, near Mynderse Street. The man was taken to Albany Medical Center with what a police spokesman described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police could be seen in the area after the incident with flashlights looking for potential evidence. No one was in custody as of Sunday morning, police said.
