QUEENSBURY — A California man was charged with DWI on Saturday after he drove through the middle of a traffic circle and crashed his car in the woods, according to state police.

Kyle Hudson, 28, of Campbell, California, lost control of his vehicle on Aviation Road, west of the Northway, according to the police report. Officers responding to a call about a car in the woods said they found Hudson demonstrating "signs of alcohol impairment."

According to troopers, Hudson was trying to reach the Northway but did not notice the traffic circle island and drove right over it. He was found to have a 0.2 percent blood alcohol content, troopers said.
