Brian Dean, Dan McCarty and Len Lima scored goals in an 11-minute stretch in the second half as the Mekeel Christian Academy boys' soccer team rallied for a 4-2 Western Athletic Conference win over Schoharie on Wednesday at Scotia's Maalwyck Park.

Quin Barton scored a pair of first-half goals for Schoharie, both assisted by Noah Fagnani. McCarty had a first-half goal for the Lions, assisted by Lima.

Andrew Drescher recorded a hat trick and Ezeke Pulliam, Ryan Germani and Jovan Afzali also had goals as Berne-Knox-Westerlo topped Fonda-Fultonville 6-0.


Garret Delaney's goal in the 60th minute was the game-winner as Mayfield edged Northville 2-1. Camron Morehouse scored a late goal for Northville.

Dom Scalice scored two goals and Schalmont got the best of longtime postseason nemesis Ichabod Crane 4-1 in a Colonial Council game. Ryan Edwards had a goal and two assists for the Sabres and Hamza Noor had a goal and an assist.

Gregory Hotaling and Jack Pryor both had a goal and set up a score, and Nick Pruiksma and Brett Becker knocked in the other Cobleskill-Richmondville goals in a 4-0 win over Catholic Central.

Aidan Rice produced three goals and Jack Donnelly had two goals and an assist to lift Saratoga Springs past Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 7-2 in a Suburban Council game. Evan Farr and Tyler Clute also had Saratoga goals. Owen Muller and Park Scott scored for BH-BL.

Colonie rallied from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to beat Averill Park in overtime 3-2.

Mike Lanfear scored three goals and Matt McCarthy and Jared Everleth both picked up two assists in Schuylerville's 5-1 Foothills Council win over Hudson Falls. Carter Lewis scored for the Tigers.

Teddy Borgos had three goals and two assists, and Queensbury extended its season-starting win streak to five games by beating Glens Falls 7-0. Aidan Jordi-Donnelly had two goals and an assist for the Spartans, who didn't allow a shot on goal.

Jared Eipp, Kyle Denman and Brady Goodermote had the goals for Broadalbin-Perth in a 3-2 win over Johnstown. Charlie Brown and Spencer Kotwasinsi scored for Johnstown.


Liv Raucci and Izzy O'Clair both scored and assisted on a goal to propel Mohonasen past Catholic Central 4-2 in a Colonial Council game. Hailey Dunsmore and Matti Muller had the other Mohonasen goals. Claudia Fountain and Madison Clermont scored for CCHS.

Bella Tronco had two goals and two assists and Ava Panto scored twice to spearhead Holy Names' 7-0 victory over Lansingburgh. Julia Tronco, Megan Marini and Riley Taylor also scored for Holy Names.

Kaelyn Lawson had three goals and three assists, and Jayden Kelley had three goals and one assist to lift Voorheesville over Cohoes 7-3. Hannah Ragule scored twice for Cohoes.

Allysa Duvan clicked for three goals, and Sierra Rose and Carly Atty both scored twice as Fonda-Fultonville beat Berne-Knox-Westerlo 10-0 in the Western Athletic Conference. Stella Williams had four assists for the Braves, and Atty finished with three assists.

Sam Lanoue had half of Hoosic Valley's goals in a 6-0 Wasaren League win over Waterford-Halfmoon. Casey Bugbee had a goal and two assists for the Indians.

Stillwater beat Saratoga Central Catholic 11-0 behind Teya Staie's four goals and Brooke Pickett's three scores. Cassidy Sheehan, Devon Wagner and Keelyn Peacock rounded out the Stillwater scoring.

Jada Brown had two goals and two assists to lead Mechanicville past Tamarac 5-0. Brynn Murphy had a goal and an assist for the Red Raiders, and Savannah Bowie made nine saves for the shutout.

Kelsey Meca scored in the 72nd minute and Taryn LaFountain scored in the 78th minute as Mayfield rallied for a 2-1 win over Northville in the Western Athletic Conference. Bre Strouse gave Northville the lead just before Mayfield's comeback.

Caitlyn Baker, Taya Yacobucci and Abigail Smith scored in Canajoharie's 3-0 win over Fort Plain, and Kylee Richard had a pair of assists.

Alexis Klock scored in the second half to give Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville a 1-0 win over Middleburgh.

Cobleskill-Richmondville beat Galway in a non-league game 5-0 on two goals by Alissa Pacett and single tallies by Ali Presley, Emma Osterhoudt and Eleesia Camino.


Isabel Adams scored in the second half and again in overtime to lift Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake past Bethlehem 2-1 in a Suburban Council game. Sophie Defran had the Bethlehem goal.

Lindsey Frank collected two goals and two assists, Olivia Vukelic had two goals and one assist, and Molly Russell knocked in two goals as Saratoga Springs defeated Niskayuna 6-0. Blue Streak netminders Kristen Rodecker and Emma Piccirillo joined for six saves to split the shutout.

Olivia Howard notched a pair of goals and Abby Danson stopped four shots as part of Shenendehowa's 3-0 win over Guilderland. Grace DeChiro had the other Plainsmen goal.

Shaker beat Columbia 2-1 on goals by Rachel Palladino and Mary Belskis. Taryn Stewart scored for Columbia.


Erik Salo had 11 kills and Caleb Federman had 25 assists, and Bethehem improved its mark to 5-0 with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-10 Suburban Council win over Saratoga Springs.

Alex Townsend added eight digs for the Eagles.


Olivia DeBortoli played a key role at the net with 12 kills and six blocks, and Shenendehowa beat Troy 25-13, 25-13, 25-6 in a Suburban Council match.

Anie Sala added five kills for the Plainsmen, Ashley Lavigne had 20 service points and seven digs, and Izzy Burns had 11 service points and seven digs. Jenalyse Alarcon had six kills for Troy, and Nadia Brown and Sophia DiNova both had 12 digs.

Macenzie Ward had 28 assists to go with 10 digs and seven kills as Johnstown went to 3-0 in the Foothills Council with a 26-24, 25-19, 26-24 win over Hudson Falls.

Janay Douglas had nine kills and 18 digs for Johnstown, Jordyn Stoutner served for 16 points with five aces, and Sadie Blowers and Zoe Petrie both added 12 digs. Gracie Nassivera had 19 digs for Hudson Falls.

Broadalbin-Perth beat Schuylerville 25-12, 25-9, 25-14 behind Cassy Bown's 10 kills and four blocks, Lily Mitchell's 23 assists and Madison Fariello's six kills. Averi Doyle had 10 assists and four aces for Schuylerville.

Queensbury beat Scotia-Glenville 25-10, 25-12, 25-13, with Isabella Salatini and Brooke Taylor both delivering seven kills for the Spartans, and Bailey Gengel contributing 19 assists and eight aces. Maddie Wright paced the Tartans with 19 assists, Sierra Brodowski had 17 digs and Maya Bellamy had 14 digs and four kills.

South Glens Falls beat Gloversville 25-14, 25-15, 25-22. Macey Salvione had eight kills and 18 digs for Gloversville.

Mechanicville forged a 25-15, 25-22, 25-18 Wasaren League win over Waterford-Halfmoon as Aryanna Carter and Taylor Grayson combined for 25 service points and both fired four aces. Adriana Patenaude had 11 digs for Mechanicville. Nikki Lajeunesse led the Fordians with 13 service points and seven digs.

Cambridge got six kills and seven service points from Jordyn Griffith in a 25-19, 25-12, 20-25, 25-10 win over Hoosic Valley.

Mohonasen beat Holy Names 25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-19 in the Colonial Council, with Bryannah Green piling up 30 assists for the Mighty Warriors, and Natalie Blackstone contributing 10 kills and 12 digs.
