Zoe Lanfear scored the game- winning goal in overtime as South Glens Falls defeated Scotia-Glenville 3-2 in a Foothills Council girls’ soccer game on Thursday. Amya Naja and Aly Fish also scored for the Bulldogs. Brooklyn Drago scored both goals for the Tartans.

Broadalbin-Perth played to a 2-2 tie with Johnstown. Lauralie Grainer and Alayna Preston scored for B-P. Jenna Thompson and Mango Delgado scored for Johnstown. 

Ballston Spa defeated Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake 4-2 in a Suburban Council game. Caitlin Wania scored twice for the Scotties. Sarah Rule and Sarah Sierzenga each had a goal. Annabelle Morrison scored once and had an assist for Burnt Hills. 

Bethlehem edged Niskayuna 2-1. Grace Hotaling and Claire Hutton scored for the Eagles. Olivia Piraino had the goal for the Silver Warriors. 
Guilderland shut out Colonie 5-0 with five different players scoring.

Jessica and Sydney Haskin both scored in the second half to lift Averill Park over Columbia 2-0. Megan Glanton made six saves for Averill Park in the shutout. 

Abby Burns scored twice for Troy in a 3-0 win over Schenectady. Kiya Nurse also scored for Troy.

Boys' soccer

Brady Van Epps had a hat trick for CBA in a 3-2 Suburban Council victory over Saratoga Springs. Evan Farr and Aidan Rice both scored for the Blue Streaks.

Derin Gumustop scored the overtime winner in a 1-0 Bethlehem win over Niskayuna in double overtime. Jamie Smith assisted on the game-winning goal. 

Ethan Brunell scored twice for Shenendehowa in a 2-0 win over Shaker. Eddie Greene and Reggie Durden assisted Brunell’s goals. 

Jake Cavert scored with eight minutes left to lift Mechanicville over Tamarac 3-2 in Wasaren League action. Kevin Charette also scored for the Red Raiders. Jeff Luce had a goal for the Bengals.

Albany Academy beat Mohonasen 3-1 in the Colonial Council. Sam Sundwall, Niko Moutopoulos and Fahad Khalifa all scored for the Cadets. Evan Schmidt scored for the Warriors. 

Luca Santabarbara had a hat trick in an 8-1 Schalmont win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk. Jared Smith added two goals, Gabe Camenzo had a goal and three assists and Matt Horwedel had a goal and two assists for the Sabres. Bryan Schwabrow scored for Ravena.

Girls’ volleyball

Niskayuna won 25-20, 25-8, 25-21 over Bethlehem in a Suburban Council game. Katie Atchison had 13 service points, 20 assists and six aces while Stefana Stan had 13 points, 10 kills and nine aces for the Silver Warriors.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake improved to 7-0 in Suburban Council play with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-14 win over Ballston Spa. Carlie Rzeszotarski had 10 kills, seven aces and six blocks for Burnt Hills. Morgan Bohlke added six kills and five blocks. Megan McMahon had 23 assists and Liza Balet had nine kills for Ballston Spa. 

Shenendehowa remained unbeaten with a 25-9, 25-21, 25-23 win over Shaker. Maddy Frutchey finished with 11 kills for Shenendehowa. Samantha Hardwick had nine kills, six blocks and four digs for Shaker. 

Guilderland beat Colonie 25-15, 25-16, 22-25, 25-7. Julz Venduro had eight kills and Katherine Psoinois had five for Guilderland. Peyton Legg added three aces and 18 assists. 

Averill Park swept Columbia 25-12, 25-19, 25-20. Emma Crawley had 22 assists and Jackie Borland had seven kills and four blocks for Averill Park.

Mayfield beat Duanesburg 25-13, 21-25, 25-19, 25-17 in a Western Athletic Conference game. Victoria Passono finished with eight kills while Annabelle Rieseler had seven kills and three aces for Duanesburg. 

Middleburgh rallied from two sets down to beat Mekeel Christian — 22-25, 20-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-11. Saige Burton finished with 18 kills, seven service points and five aces for Middleburgh. Hallie Gasner had 13 service points, nine blocks and eight kills. For Mekeel, Keely Lagon had nine kills, six aces and 11 service points. 

Kayla Mastin had 12 kills, 10 service points and 7 aces for Canajoharie-Fort Plain in a 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-27, 25-18 win over Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville. Sydney Shephard added nine kills and seven digs for C-FP. Kenidee Oare led OESJ with seven kills, eight digs and four aces. 

Mohonasen defeated Catholic Central 25-18, 25-21, 25-13 in Colonial Council action. Bryannah Green had 14 digs and seven aces for Mohonasen. Natalie Blackstone finished with six kills. 

Academy of Holy Names beat Lansingburgh 25-14, 25-10, 25-10. Sydney Neff had six kills and five aces, Emma Savage had 13 service points and seven aces and Eleanor Cepiel had five kills and four aces for Holy Names.

Schalmont defeated Ichabod Crane 25-21, 25-19, 18-25, 17-25, 25-18. April Buechner had eight kills and Paige Meschcon had six aces and five assists for Schalmont. 

Field hockey

Johnstown shut out Glens Falls in Foothills Council action. Taryn Ringer, Anna Lee and Emily Fleming scored for Johnstown. 
Scotia-Glenville shut out Gloversville 6-0. Olivia Geniti had a hat trick and Zoe Connor added two goals for Scotia. Emma Malone finished with a goal and two assists.
