GLENVILLE -- A boil-water order that was issued Wednesday for a portion of Glenville has been lifted.

The order resulted from a water main break on Sacandaga Road.

The county Public Health Department lifted the order Friday, but cautioned residents to, as a precaution, flush all water lines for three to five minutes before using water from them. Also, ice made by ice machines during the boil-water order should be discarded.
