Shenendehowa beat Niskayuna 45-14, with Brendan Belott throwing for three touchdowns and running in one in Class AA on Friday.

Shenendehowa started the scoring with Belott throwing a 7-yard pass to Brendan Disonell. Niskayuna evened the score with a Dan Brownell 4-yard pass to Richie Quinn. Belott scored again on a 19 yard run to make it 14-7 after one.

Belott threw his second touchdown pass of the game to Robert Goldman for 10 yards. Belott followed it up with a 7-yard run. Mitchell Carley kicked a 32-yard field goal to make it 31-7 heading into halftime.

Shen scored once in the third and once in the fourth, first on a 50-yard pass from Belott to Dyvante Terrelonge and a 4-yard run from Harrison Shaw.

Niskayuna scored their second touchdown of the game with Brownell connecting with Quinn on a 17-yard pass.

Guilderland 21, Bethlehem 12
Micahel Gitto went 20 of 34 for 194 yards and a touchdown and carried 14 times for 39 yards and ran the clock out on the last drive to lead Guilderland over Bethlehem.

In the first quarter, Vin Lia scored on a 39-yard touchdown drive on the first drive to set the pace for Guilderland early. Later in the quarter, Guilderland’s Shane Hoffman blocked Bethlehem’s punt on 4th-and-21 to make it 14-0. Guilderland outgained Bethlehem 313 yards to 117 yards.

Shaker 48, Saratoga Springs 28
Jovani Wiggs scored two rushing touchdowns, on an 80 yarder and a 48 yarder, and scored on an 85-yard kickoff return to lead Shaker over Saratoga Springs.

Logan Souza scored a touchdown on a kickoff return of his own, an 88 yarder.

Saratoga Springs’ top play came on a 90-yard pass from Jake Williams to Carter Steingraber in the third quarter.

Ballston Spa’s Jason McCarthy ran for 98 yards with two touchdowns to lead Ballston Spa to the win.

The Ballston Spa defense held Mohonasen to 114 yards and Ballston Spa’s David Rodak got a fumble recovery and an interception.

Peyton Ausfield rushed 43 yards untouched to give Amsterdam the early lead, but Columbia took over from there, thanks to a 21-point second quarter.

Jalen Antonetti took a throwback pass from Garret McDonald 70 yards for a score to give Columbia a 13-6 lead with 11:39 left in the first half.

Donovan Pacatte threw for 251 yards, had two passing touchdowns and ran one in to lead Cobleskill-Richmondville over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.

Ravena got their lone score in the fourth quarter on a Nathaniel Ray 26-yard pass from Nino Futia and converted on the two-point conversion with Ray running it in.

Stratton Sherman ran for three touchdowns and threw another and Paul Harshbarger added 178 yards and two more scores to lead Schuylerville.
